Itinerary
Monday: We depart the Travel Centre this morning and head north, arriving at the hotel late afternoon.
Tuesday: Today we depart the hotel to visit the famous Commando War Memorial on The Braes of Lochaber at Spean Bridge. After, we make a stop for lunch in Fort William before travelling along the shores of Loch Eil, to the Glenfinnan Viaduct and Bonnie Prince Charlie’s monument.
Wednesday: Today we depart the hotel and travel South through the Grampian Mountains to Pitlochry, one of Scotland’s most beautiful and vibrant places to visit. In the afternoon, we return to the hotel for afternoon tea/coffee and shortbread.
Thursday: We stay local this morning with a visit to the Highland Folk Museum as we step back in time to experience life in the Highlands from the 1700’s to the 1950’s. Explore 35 historical buildings and discover how people lived, worked, went to school and enjoyed their leisure time. In the afternoon we visit Dalwhinne Distillery, home to the famous Highland Single Malt Whisky, for a tour and tasting.
Friday: We bid a fond farewell to the hotel this morning as we make our way back to Leicestershire, arriving back early evening.

Based in the village of Newtonmore and set within the stunning location of the Cairngorms National Park, the hotel is ideally placed to explore the surrounding area and offers guests a warm welcome.
