New Year in Stunning Shropshire

Our new tour takes us on a journey of discovery and nostalgia, bringing back memories of days gone by as we explore the attractions of Shropshire. We also wander into Wales to sample the stunning scenery and discover one of its mighty Castles.

We make the short journey through the beautiful countryside to Shrewsbury. Here you can obtain lunch and explore the town, with its timber-framed black and white buildings amongst narrow alleyways, surrounded by the River Severn. This afternoon we continue to the small town of Church Stretton, nicknamed Little Switzerland in the late Victorian and Edwardian period for its pretty landscape. We return to the hotel to wind-down before our 'Black Tie' evening event, complete with glass of fizz, music and dancing.

New Year's Day
This morning we head to the City of Worcester where we have time to explore the city, with its imposing Cathedral. Enjoy this opportunity to have lunch, and then it's on to medieval Ludlow for the afternoon. Shop for bargains in the New Year's Day sales, or take a stroll through the narrow streets in one of the most attractive towns in Britain. Today is our farewell dinner at the hotel, followed by a quiz or bingo.Telford Hotel & Spa
