Itinerary
Lord Mayor's Parade
Each year, to honour a royal decree made in 1215, the mayor must travel to Westminster and swear loyalty to the Crown. Today, this this tradition has evolved to become the Lord Mayor's Parade, a spectacular event where the mayor's gilded 'State Coach', bands, costumed performers and decorated floats parade through the streets of London to Westminster!
Whitehall
We pay a visit to Whitehall, where our armed forces parade and wreaths are ceremonially laid to commemorate Armistice Day. A sombre opportunity to reflect and pay your respects to the British and Commonwealth soldiers, sailors, airmen and women, members of the emergency services and civilians, who made the ultimate sacrifice, securing liberty and freedom for all.
City of London
The capital has a huge array of attractions to enjoy and visit, such as museums, art galleries and landmarks which are recognisable the world over such as Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, Leicester Square, Parliament and the London Eye. London is also world famous for its shopping, Harrods, Regent Street, Oxford Street and an array of markets, all offering fantastic retail therapy. Whatever your preference, London has it all.
