Bradford is our base for this singles holiday which takes in highlights of Yorkshire, including canal rides, historic rail journeys and time in some quintessential English towns. Our hotel is located right in the city centre. Enjoy a welcome drink on your first evening - compliments of us - and take the opportunity to get to know your fellow holidaymakers, then relax for the week and enjoy our included excursion programme.

FULL DAY: Settle - Carlisle, returning by coach
Nicknamed the Great Border City, Carlisle is home to two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and one World Heritage Site. One of the highlights of our tour is a trip on the Settle to Carlisle Railway. Sit back and enjoy the stunning scenery on what is regarded as one of the finest rail journeys in Europe.
FULL DAY: Skipton & cruise on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal
We also visit the market town of Skipton, with its historic cobbled high street, romantic ruined priory and 900 year old castle, before we take a trip on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal for a lively and fascinating journey through history.
FULL DAY: Harrogate and pretty Pateley Bridge
Our final excursion takes us to the elegant spa town of Harrogate, with its beautifully preserved buildings and famous parks and gardens, and onto Pateley Bridge, a lovely little Dales town situated on the River Nidd.

Joining Your Grand UK Coach Holiday
For 2024 we have introduced improvements to our network of local pick up points across the eastern, central and southern England, aimed at shortening your journey times and getting you away on holiday more easily and conveniently, meaning an altogether more relaxing start. We now have two pick up regions so your travel days will be more convenient, providing more efficient journeys, meeting your tour manager and fellow travellers earlier and in most cases arriving in resort earlier, please refer to our Pick-ups section below for more details.
The Tour Ref below indicates whether the tour departs from Area A or Area B by having either an A or B at the end. For example, GUK5A would be a tour departing from Area A.

Traveling from Departure Area A: Be picked up from your free local departure point, and join your tour coach at our interchange area at Northampton Services on the M11, at junction 15A.
Traveling from Departure Area B: Be picked up from your free local departure point, and join your tour coach at our interchange area at Beaconsfield Services, M40, junction 2.
