Crusader Holidays uses an interchange system, taking place at either Beaconsfield Services (M40), South Mimms Services (M25/A1M) or Thurrock Services (M25).
Here you may have to change to your holiday coach and we are renowned for ensuring that this is smooth and efficient.
The holiday coaches typically depart from Beaconsfield Services at 11.15, Thurrock Services at around 09.30 and South Mimms Services at 10.30. Some customers find it more convenient to join direct at the interchange, please let is know when booking if this is the case.
*Due to increased operational costs, from Monday 16th October 2023 Dover, Folkestone, Canterbury & Ashford joining points will be subject to a £25.00 per person supplement on all 2024 UK Tours.

Day 1 After joining your holiday coach, travel north with suitable stops for lunch and refreshments. Arrive in Peebles this evening for your 3-night Hogmanay stay - welcome tea/coffee on arrival. Accomodation includes breakfast and dinner. Included Excursion
Day 2 - New Years Eve - Edinburgh Christmas Market. This is Edinburgh's main Christmas market. Situated in the heart of the city, iconic sites such as Edinburgh Castle, the Scott Monument, the Balmoral Hotel and Calton Hill lend it a dramatic backdrop. While most of this market takes place in East Princes Street Gardens, in recent years it has spread on to George Street too where you'll also find the festive ice-rink. This is a big event, and gets bigger every year - so expect crowds! But also expect lots of atmosphere and stalls selling everything from painted nutcrackers to Glayva - a gorgeously smooth and sweet local whiskey flavoured with spices, tangerines, and honey. This market also features loads of attractions including the Christmas Wheel, the Star Flyer and Santa Land. Return to the hotel in the afternoon for afternoon tea with mulled wine, tea/coffee. Join the group for a Prosecco reception followed by 4 course gourmet dinner. Entertainment this evening will be a mix of Ceilidh and a cover band. Traditional Piper to see in the New Year with a glass of Prosecco. Hotel request formal dress code.
Day 3 - Enjoy a relaxing day around the hotel with a musician playing in the lounge & board games in the afternoon. Three course Carvery dinner this evening.
Day 4 - After breakfast, depart the hotel to head south with ample comfort stops on the way to interchange.

Guests can relax in the sauna and whirlpool integrated in the 10 yards indoor swimming pool, work out in the fitness centre or enjoy a treatment in one of the two spa treatment rooms. (Treatments must be booked in advance and directly with the hotel leisure centre - additional charge applies) All single rooms are double for sole use.
