Join us for this fabulous 5 day break as we celebrate the iconic sounds of the last century. Each night will feature music from one of the following decades, 40's, 50's 60's and 70's. The swing music of the 40s, the rock and roll music of the 50s, the swinging 60s and the disco sounds of the 70s. There will be live music, with tribute acts and dancing. Each night there will be bingo, quiz's and competitions, also prizes will be given to the best dressed in the theme of the night. During the day there will be films and of course carol singing all organised and presented by your resident Host and Hostess.

Crusader Holidays uses an interchange system, taking place at either Beaconsfield Services (M40), South Mimms Services (M25/A1M) or Thurrock Services (M25).
Here you may have to change to your holiday coach and we are renowned for ensuring that this is smooth and efficient.
The holiday coaches typically depart from Beaconsfield Services at 11.15, Thurrock Services at around 09.30 and South Mimms Services at 10.30. Some customers find it more convenient to join direct at the interchange, please let is know when booking if this is the case.

Day 1 After joining your holiday coach, travel to your Christmas holiday destination for 4 nights. Dinner, breakfast & Christmas Day Lunch. Welcome drink and mince pie on your arrival.Days 2 - 4 At leisure with two included excursions. Each night music from one of the following decades 40's, 50's, 60's & 70's Swing music of the 40's. rock & roll of the 50's, the swinging 60's & disco sounds of the 70's - Live music, tribute acts & dancing. Bingo or quiz each afternoon.Christmas Eve - Morning scenic drive into the Peak District with a stop in Bakewell. Idyllically situated on the banks of the river Wye, the biggest town in the Peak District National Park's mellow stone buildings, medieval five-arched stone bridge and quaint courtyards are a magnet for painters, photographers and sightseers alike.Legend has it that the town's famous Bakewell Pudding was created by mistake by a local cook in the mid-19th century. Today her delectable 'jam tart that went wrong' can be sampled at various bakeries and cafés and posted virtually anywhere in the world! Return to the hotel to relax before dinner followed by entertainment.Christmas Day - Merry Christmas - a leisurely morning before your traditional Christmas day lunch with all the trimmings. King's speech and afternoon tea/coffee and Christmas cake. Enjoy a light Christmas supper this evening followed by entertainment.Boxing Day -.A drive into Sherwood Forest in the morning to Edwinstowe - Robin Hood's Village. This historic village in the heart of Sherwood Forest, home of Robin Hood. Legend has it that it was here, at the beautiful medieval church of St Mary, that Robin married Maid Marian. The High Street is home to a statue in their honour. This is a vibrant and busy village with a variety of shops, restaurants and pubsJust a 10 minute walk from the village is the Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre and National Nature Reserve, the legendary home of Robin Hood. Many of the oaks in Sherwood Forest have stood for over 5 centuries and the mighty Major Oak - Robin Hood's tree) is estimated to be over 800 years old. The forest is a Special Area of Conservation and is teeming with life with over 200 different species. A stop at the Visitors Centre today gives an insight into one of most famous forests in the UK. Dinner and entertainment this evening in the hotel.Day 5 - After a hearty breakfast, check out and head back to interchange stopping for a refreshments on the way.
