Description

Warners Holme Lacy is a Grade I listed mansion which was completed in 1674 and was reportedly visited by Charles II, and William Pitt, 1st Earl of Chatham, who held cabinet meetings in the gardens. Set in 20 acres of gardens in the beautiful Wye Valley, Holme Lacy is one of Herefordshire's treasures. There's plenty to do with daily entertainment, a wide range of outdoor activities and an indoor pool and spa. Our tour also includes an excursion to the spectacular surroundings of Symonds Yat, Ross on Wye & The Wye Valley.

Crusader Holidays uses an interchange system, taking place at either Beaconsfield Services (M40), South Mimms Services (M25/A1M) or Thurrock Services (M25).

Here you may have to change to your holiday coach and we are renowned for ensuring that this is smooth and efficient.

The holiday coaches typically depart from Beaconsfield Services at 11.15, Thurrock Services at around 09.30 and South Mimms Services at 10.30. Some customers find it more convenient to join direct at the interchange, please let is know when booking if this is the case.

Day 1- After joining your holiday coach, enjoy a scenic drive to Holme Lacy to arrive late afternoon. Breakfast & dinner included.

Symonds Yat, Ross on Wye & The Wye Valley
This excursion to the renowned beauty spot of Symonds Yat is a must! Enjoy magnificent views across the Wye Valley before visiting the historic market town of Ross on Wye. The spectacular surrounding countryside and picturesque village atmosphere of Ross on Wye, with its impressive 17th century Market Hall and Tudor timbered houses, make it picture-postcard material.

Ludlow
Ludlow is a thriving medieval market town and an architectural gem with a lively community feel, busy with events and festivals throughout the year. The historic town centre and the 11th century Ludlow Castle are situated on a cliff above the River Teme and are surrounded by the beautiful countryside of south Shropshire and the Welsh Marche

Day 4 - After breakfast rejoin the coach for the homeward journey and with comfort stops on the way you will be back in your home towns mid evening.

This Grade I listed mansion, is rich in Renaissance-style detail is set in the beautiful Wye Valley and also features stunning Grade II listed gardens with fishing lake.
For those looking to stay active there is an Indoor pool, sauna, steam room and fitness studio

The 181 rooms offer a relaxing base in the middle of Herefordshire's green fields with views across to Marcle Ridge.
Breakfast, cooked and continental, is as large as it gets and designed for lingering. At dinner, the focus is on familiar pairings with appreciation for the perfect fish and chips or that next-level burger, plus specials from Italy to India. The roast of the day is highly recommended. From lamb shank to pork loin and striploin of beef.
