Join us as we head to Nottingham for this wonderful holiday over the Christmas period. Depart Leyland at 09.30hrs for our journey to Nottingham with a suitable lunch stop en-route, arrive at the hotel late afternoon to a warm welcome with tea/coffee and mince pies while our luggage is being taken care of. This evening a delicious three-course dinner will be served.

Tuesday (Christmas Eve)
Following a leisurely breakfast today's excursion takes us to Newark-on-Trent, a quintessential English market town boasting one of the finest Georgian squares in the UK where we enjoy free time to explore, perhaps hunt for that last minute Christmas gift or lovely treats for your room. Return to the hotel to relax or use the leisure facilities before enjoying dinner.
For those wishing to attend Midnight Mass details of local church services will be available from reception, with a glass of mulled wine/tea/coffee and mince pies awaiting your return.

Wednesday (Christmas Day)
Merry Christmas to all our Avatravellers. This morning we start with a leisurely breakfast with time to relax and use the hotels facilities. Later enjoy a traditional Christmas Lunch followed by the King's Speech at 15.00hrs with tea/coffee and Christmas cake. Tonight, we enjoy a leisurely festive buffet.

Thursday (Boxing Day)
This morning following a leisurely breakfast we head the short distance into Nottingham, home of the legendary Robin Hood. Enjoy a look around the city at leisure, perhaps grab a bargain in the sales. Return to the hotel in the afternoon to enjoy mince pies, perhaps take a dip in the pool or enjoy a sauna and relax before dinner.

The Nottingham Belfry is a modern hotel conveniently located just 15 minutes’ drive outside of Nottingham.
