Dorset Royal Marines Turkey and Tinsel

Join us as we head to Bournemouth for the Dorset Royal Marines Turkey and Tinsel tour. As we come towards the end of the year, end it in style with festive fayre and entertainment and of course take home wonderful memories of the highlight finale of this tour, the extra-special event with the world famous band of His Majesty’s Royal Marine’s. Enjoy the entertainment delight of this military spectacular of festive music, military marches, big band hits and popular showstoppers. During the tour we will visit medieval Winchester, take the opportunity to do some Christmas shopping in the many interesting shops, join us for a drive through the picturesque New Forest National Park to discover the charm and natural beauty of this magnificent area, once the hunting ground for William the Conqueror. Depart Leyland at 08:00 for our journey to Bournemouth, enjoy a suitable lunch stop en-route with welcome tea/coffee on arrival while your luggage is taken care of. Live entertainment this evening following dinner.

Tuesday:
This morning we head to medieval Winchester take the opportunity to do some Christmas shopping in the historic Cathedral city with time to grab some lunch. In the afternoon head back to the hotel for sherry and Christmas cake in the lounge, with guess the weight of the Christmas Cake and bingo, in the evening we enjoy a traditional Christmas dinner with all the trimmings and live entertainment.

Wednesday:
Following breakfast join us for a scenic drive through the New Forest with stops in the historic market town of Ringwood on market day, take a lunch stop in the natural capital of the New Forest, Lyndhurst before travelling to Lymington, the Georgian market town set on the coast. Enjoy live entertainment this evening following dinner.

Thursday:
Day at leisure in Bournemouth, tea/coffee and mince pies in the afternoon at the hotel, enjoy a buck's fizz reception followed by an early dinner before heading off for the Royal Marines Christmas Spectacular at 19:30.

Friday:
