Day of leisure to enjoy Holme Lacy and its beautiful grounds.

Wednesday
Long half day - following breakfast travel the short distance to historic Hereford for a morning visit to the cathedral includes a visit to the Mappa Mundi and Chained Library Exhibition, explore Herefords famous Medieval map to discover how scholars interpreted the world over 700 years ago, marvel at magnificent, illuminated manuscripts and rare, early printed books, followed by a guided tour of the cathedral. In the afternoon there will be free time to enjoy lunch and explore, the city has a great foodie scene as well as great shopping opportunities. Return to the hotel mid-afternoon for time at leisure.

Thursday
Long half day - following breakfast we head to the Welsh border to 'the town of books, Hay on Wye. This pretty town is filled with all things book related, antique shops and pretty eateries allowing you time for lunch, today is market day. Mid-afternoon take a scenic return journey via Ross-on-Wye before returning to the hotel.

Friday
