DAY 1 After joining your holiday coach, travel south with a stop at the impressive Guildford Cathedral. Built only in 1936 and prominently situated on Stag Hill, the brick exterior belies the stunning nave and various chapels inside. There is also a café and shop. Continue to the coast to check into 3* Best Western Beachcroft Hotel just outside Bognor Regis for 4 nights. Glass of mulled wine on arrival for dinner to galvanise the Christmas Spirit. Candlelit dinner this evening with Christmas carol music to set the mood. DBB\n\nDAY 2 Morning in Arundel - A quaint old town on the River Arun which captures the essence of heritage, urban chic and country pursuits, combining one thousand years of history with independent shops, contemporary art galleries and a thriving foodie scene. Please note that Arundel Castle & Gardens, set high on a hill above the town, is closed in November. Head back to the hotel in plenty of time to enjoy a quiz and bingo session. Tonight three will be a traditional Christmas turkey dinner.\n\nDAY 3 Charming Chichester - Just a short drive to the lively Georgian market town of Chichester, the county town of West Sussex, located at the foot of the South Downs, is almost entirely encircled by its medieval walls. There will be time at leisure this morning to explore the streets of elegant 18th century town houses as well as the magnificent cathedral. Remember Wednesday is market day! Live entertainment this evening after dinner.\n\nDAY 4 South Downs Scenic Drive and Worthing - Enjoy a morning drive through the rolling hills of the South Downs National Park's landscapes, full of breath-taking views, hidden gems and quintessentially English scenery. A rich tapestry of wildlife, landscapes and tranquillity weave together a story of people and place in harmony. Make a stop in the traditional seaside town of Worthing with its famous pier (winner of 2019 Pier of the Year Award). Return to the hotel to glam up for this evening's New Year's Eve Gala dinner with live entertainment and a glass of fizz!\n\nDAY 5 After a leisurely breakfast, it's homeward bound with a stop en-route.Then it's onto interchange and your home towns this evening.
