Join us for Christmas in Hampshire, the perfect blend of city, coast and countryside. Staying at the Meon Valley Hotel, near Southampton, this delightful Country Club is set in beautiful surroundings and a perfect setting to celebrate the festive season. Our convenient location allows for easy access to the Isle of Wight, just a short ferry ride away. Here we enjoy a heritage train journey on the Isle of Wight Steam Railway. Additionally, we have the chance to explore the New Forest, one of the largest unenclosed National Parks in Southern England, and visit the traditional coastal town of Bournemouth.

Itinerary
23rd December - Arrival
After joining the coach, we make our way to our hotel and check in.
Christmas Eve - Bournemouth & the New Forest
Our day begins with a trip to the seaside as we visit the traditional resort of Bournemouth. Boasting seven miles of golden sands and a historic pier, this is the perfect place for a stroll to blow away the cobwebs!
Later, we travel back to the hotel via the idyllic New Forest, England's smallest National Park, famous for its tranquil ambience and free roaming ponies. We stop en-route in the pretty village of Brockenhurst with its olde-worlde charm, independent shops and quaint cafés.
Christmas Day - Christmas Celebrations
Christmas Day is a lovely day of celebration as our hotel provides a hearty Christmas lunch with all the trimmings followed by Christmas cake, tea and coffee plus a light buffet dinner in the evening.
Boxing Day - The Isle of Wight Steam Railway
We take a ferry across the Solent to the Isle of Wight, where we can soak up the sights and sounds of steam travel aboard a beautifully restored Victorian train. Keep an eye out for red squirrels and deer as we pass through idyllic forests and ancient woodland.
27th December - Return Home
After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and head for home.
