We also explore some of the highlights of the area, with Christmas Eve spent amid the magical landscapes of the New Forest and a Boxing Day trip to pretty Salisbury included.

Itinerary (Coach)
23rd DecemberAfter joining the coach, we make our way to our hotel and check in.\n\nChristmas Eve - The New Forest (Lymington & Lyndhurst)On Christmas Eve we explore the New Forest, England's smallest National Park, famous for its tranquil ambience and free roaming ponies. We visit the Forest's capital of Lyndhurst and the coastal town and former smuggler's port, Lymington, with its cobbled streets and attractive quayside.\n\nChristmas DayChristmas Day is a day of relaxation and leisure in Bournemouth, where our hotel provides a hearty Christmas lunch with all the trimmings as well as a light buffet dinner.\n\nBoxing Day - SalisburyOn Boxing Day we head to Salisbury, often referred to as 'the city in the countryside.' As well as being a great place for shopping, the city is home to a fine medieval cathedral that boasts the tallest spire in Britain and an original copy of the Magna Carta.\n\n27th DecemberAfter breakfast, we check out of our hotel and head for home.

Opened on Queen Victoria's Coronation Day in 1838, it was the first hotel in Bournemouth. Leisure facilities include an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room and gym (small charge applies).
