Aintree Racecourse
When we're not home to the most famous race in the world in April, the John Smith's Grand National, Aintree Racecourse plays hosts to an additional 6 racedays, making every raceday at Aintree a special one.
Racing at Aintree doesn’t happen every day, so when it does, it’s always a special occasion. Home of the John Smith’s Grand National, Aintree is one of the world’s most famous racecourses. With over two miles of luscious green racetrack, and horse racing’s biggest stars taking to this jumps only course, racing here is always a sight to behold at one of Aintree’s six other racedays outside of the Grand National meeting.
Racing at Aintree has taken place since 1839, so we’re not only a racecourse steeped in history and tradition, but there are lots of exciting new developments too. With our new Parade Ring, Weighing Room, and two new state of the art Grandstands, a visit to Aintree delivers a 21st century racing experience like no other.
From our summer music race evenings to winter warming race weekends, a trip to Aintree is the great day with family and friends
