Eastbourne, Brighton & Pashley Manor Gardens

Eastbourne is an elegant classic 19th century resort with a pristine promenade, 1930's Bandstand and iconic Pier. The sunny seaside resort is a gateway to Beachy Head, the Seven Sisters and the magnificent South Downs National Park.
The town centre shopping area, including the Arndale Centre, offers all the big high street names and is flat, pedestrianised and just a stone's throw from the seafront, it's the perfect place to potter.Sunday: We depart the Travel Centre this morning and make our way to Eastbourne with a stop en route, aiming to arrive at the hotel late afternoon.

Monday: Today we visit fashionable Brighton with its shopping area known as ‘The Lanes’, long associated with small art galleries, antiques and curios with an atmosphere all of its own.

Tuesday: This morning we visit Carr Taylor Vineyard where we learn a brief history of their wine making methods, and after we take part in wine tasting with tea/coffee and cake.

Wednesday: Today is your free day to explore Eastbourne as you choose.

Thursday: This morning we visit Rye, a picturesque town in East Sussex, with cobbled streets, historical buildings and lovely independent shops making it easy to spend several hours wandering the streets. In the afternoon we visit Pashley Manor Gardens for a guided tour, where we see romantic English landscaping at its finest.

Friday: We bid a fond farewell to the hotel staff as we head back to Hugglescote today, arriving back at the Travel Centre late afternoon.Langham Hotel
The hotel is situated on the Royal Parade on Eastbourne’s magnificent seafront with spectacular views across the bay to the pier.
All 77 bedrooms are en suite with tea/coffee making facilities, television, hair dryer and direct dial telephone. There is a bar, cosy lounge and restaurant. The hotel doesn’t have any ground floor rooms and some rooms are accessible via stairs only. There are some steps up to the front of the hotel.
