Itinerary
The Eden Project
Formerly a barren landscape, the Eden Project is housed in tropical biomes that nestle in a crater the size of 30 football pitches! Here you can explore the world's largest indoor rainforest and immerse yourself in the calm fragrance of the Mediterranean Biome. There are also extensive Outdoor Gardens, contemporary artworks, performance and storytelling, all making for an extraordinary day out. Please note: the minimum walking route is 1.5 miles (2.5km).
Bodmin & Jail
Experience the historic town of Bodmin, with included entry to Bodmin Jail. Built in 1779 for King George III, Bodmin Jail has played an important role in Cornwall's history. This bold and haunting experience will tell stories of smuggling, mining and the everyday hardships facing Cornwall's poorest, including tales from infamous prisoners!
Newquay
We head to Newquay on Cornwall's Atlantic Coast where you will have free time to explore at your own pace. Popular for its laid-back charm, Newquay offers golden sands, as well as a Zoo, the Blue Reef Aquarium, wonderful coastal walks and many shops worth visiting.
Mevagissey
Enjoy a half day excursion to Mevagissey, an attractive harbourside village which was once the centre of Cornwall's pilchard fishery and which still boasts a working harbour, with a few dozen small fishing boats. The afternoon is free to relax in St. Agnes.
Seal Sanctuary
Experience wonderful marine animals up close and learn all about their individual stories at the SEA LIFE TRUST Cornish Seal Sanctuary. The charity rescues and rehabilitates grey seal pups from around the Cornish coastline, and also provides a permanent home to animals that need special care, including a Southern Sea Lion, Common Seals, Grey Seals, Humboldt Penguins and Beavers. A guided tour of the sanctuary and cream tea in the on-site café is included.
