Itinerary
Monday
Depart Leyland at 08.00hrs for our journey to Newquay in Cornwall with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
Tuesday
Today's full day excursion takes us to Lands End Visitor Centre, enjoy this unique location surrounded by magnificent scenery, today also includes a visit to St Ives, one of Cornwall's most loved seaside destinations, lose yourself in a maze of narrow cobbled streets and alleyways, wander down to the harbour, beach or visit one of its many galleries with time to enjoy some lunch and do a spot of shopping.
Wednesday
Relax or explore today as we enjoy a day of leisure in our resort, Newquay.
Thursday
Today's full day excursion takes us to Port Isaac the filming location for the TV series Doc Martin, this traditional fishing village is truly picturesque with narrow winding streets lined with whitewashed cottages leading to a small harbour and beach, we also uncover the story of King Arthur and Merlin on a visit to Tintagel Castle, enjoy the magnificent, breathtaking view from this wonderful location on Cornwall's rugged north coast. Important note: There are steps and steep areas at Tintagel Castle to navigate, a lot of the steps can be cut out by walking across the bridge, there are also a few benches along the way where you can rest. A land rover service is available to take you down (this incurs a small charge and isn't included in the price of the holiday).
Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for our return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
