Our morning is spent at Samlesbury Hall, where its first-ever Food & Drink Festival is taking place. The 700-year-old historic Hall will welcome visitors to experience thrilling entertainment and inspirational cookery demonstrations and showcase a variety of Lancashire's finest food and drink producers. This afternoon we take you to Astley Hall, which after two years of renovation work, is now open to the public. First opened as a museum in 1924, Astley Hall, Coach House & Park is a beautiful tourist spot located next to Chorley town centre. Within the grounds, you will find acres of stunning parkland, the breathtaking Grade I historic house, the modernised Coach House which includes Café Ambio, the scenic Walled Garden, and the exciting Pets Corner (entry included).
