Itinerary
Tunbridge Wells
We spend some time in the Georgian spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells. Discover the unspoilt beauty of the surrounding High Weald and The Pantiles walkway, an elegant tree flanked colonnaded walkway offering a unique shopping experience with a variety of specialist shops, art galleries, cafés, restaurants and bars. This afternoon we head to Carr Taylor Vineyard, where you can learn a brief history of their wine making methods, followed by a wine tasting, plus tea or coffee & cake.

Bateman's
We include a visit to the former home of Rudyard Kipling, the world-famous writer famed for 'The Jungle Book' among many other works. This beautiful Jacobean house, with its mullioned windows, oak beams and wooded surroundings, provided a much-needed sanctuary to the Kipling family. The rooms, described by him as 'untouched and unfaked', remain much as he left them, with oriental rugs and artefacts reflecting his strong association with the East. Please note: Only the ground floor is accessible to wheelchairs.
City of Brighton
Our scenic journey takes us via Beachy Head for a short photo break, and then it's on to Brighton for some time at leisure. Brighton's vibrant charm and plethora of iconic attractions make it one of the UK top holiday destinations. Take a stroll along the neon-lit pier, visit the exotic Indian-style Royal Pavilion or wander through 'the Lanes', a colourful network of shopping streets that are awash with vintage gear, antiques and quaint cafés.
